Videotape is the debut music video of Vietnamese indie artist and my high school friend Minoui. In 2020, he gave me the audio and told me to run free with it. After lots of exploration we decided to shoot an 80s-style music video. We were under strict lockdown, so I had the idea of shooting greenscreen and then using digital arts to accompany the footage. I had my talented friend Thanh Tin to do the 3d animation, which I then composited into the final video.
