Volkswagen’s brief was this: to design an affordable vehicle for single parents. After several rounds of research with a couple of single parent interviews, we came up with OSO: a parent-friendly car that encourages in-car parent-children interactions, reduces mental loads while still giving personality to the car. As a UX/UI designer, I worked with my colleagues to help make parenting easier, with child safety features, hands-free proximity unlock, and family modes inside the car. Overall, it was extremely fun and rewarding collaborating with Nicholas and David to find the spots that bridge our design disciplines together :)
